HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!

I sure had a good time at the meeting!  It was wonderful to meet
Carol and she is just as nice as we thought she would be.  Good to
see Vickie again too.  Phil showed us a neat waterer and I am going
to order some soon for my cages.  I hope Carol, Vickie,Tom and Phil
had good roads on their return home trip.  They have the farthest to
drive.  Sue called last night and I filled her in on the plans that
we discussed.  Can't wait till the weather is better so she can join
us.  Hurly is just too far to travel to meetings when the weather is
so unpredictable.  Tom sure gave us a good laugh with the auction
and he tossed in a few other good ones too!  We all enjoy Tom's
quick wit.  Tom, I think you were pleased with your "webmaster
award"  we presented Tom with a pink pig planter, check web to see
pictures.  I am anxious to hear from Carolyn and see if she trapped
a hawk yesterday.

fertility.  Hope to see you at Karen's on January 8th at 1:00p.m.

P.S.  Carol, load those birds in the car and come over  and we will
help clip wings.  Let me know if you are for sure coming and I will

Minutes: Minutes of past meetings will appear on the Minutes page from now on.

I heard from Carolyn today and she needs to have the Nov. meeting in
Marshfield Library.  She has a class in Marshfield on that Sat. AM
She may still bring her birds (to wait in the car and hunt in the
area) even though they aren't allowed in the building.  Tom can you
please put that change up on the meeting page??? Thanks

Also, the Dec. meeting is here at Minor's.  Problem is that we have
a wedding and hotel reception to attend that day.  I would like to
have the get together on Dec.11th and hope that is agreeable with
all of you.  I hope these changes work out for everyone.  I am
looking forward to both get togethers.  See you then.

Meeting July 3rd at my (Tom Kufahl's) house.

Fireworks week end? 3101 Eagle Ave, 1 block east on the NN exit.My house is very easy to find.  Eagle Avenue in Wausau (Really Rib Mountain) is the first block to the east of Interstate 39 (highway 51) after taking the NN  exit and going east (toward the lake).  Eagle Ave is easy to miss for all the driveways, but it's right after the USBank.  In fact, the bank has a driveway off Eagle Ave.  3101 is down a block or so.  My house has the sun porch and flower gardens triangular from the church.  I need bigger house numbers! There should be plenty of creatures and plants there.

Oh, by the way, Anyone is most welcome to drop in during the month of June to help me scrub the floor, wash the windows, or dig in the flowers.  If You don't want to work so hard, I can find plenty of easier cleaning for you to do.  You will not need to vacuum.  I have a robotic vacuum to do that.

Karen's June Meeting:

Now doesn't this group look like they are having fun?

Really enjoyed the meeting today though!  Am looking forward to meeting soon

Saturday's meeting was really great - everyone is so much at ease and
it's such a fun group of people!  Looking forward to future
meetings.  Hope to see you all at the Bird Fair in Marshfield on the
16th.

Sue......................................................

What an enjoyable meeting Sat.  I was glad so many could attend.
Thanks to Rod for bringing his "baby", demo of hand feeding and also
clipping the lovebirds wings.  Tom you did a wonderful job on the
lunch too.  Next month is at Karen's and you will get to see her new
patio, she has been working on it very hard and it looks great.  I
didn't hear anyone say they would... so I have something for "show
and tell" to provide some educational info at the meeting.  Oh Tom,
did you make sure everyone has this address???  I hear you ask but
then I got sidetracked!.  Talk later

The second meeting of the CWCWBC is 1:00p.m.
at Minor's in Pittsville.  Carolyn will be talking about her hawk and if the bird is not  in a molt she will bring it along......geez, everyone please help me keep an eye on LeRoy!!!   We will be discussing ways to have fun at the meetings and fatten up our kitty while not putting a burden on anyone.  A bird buddy of mine plans to attend and has an idea for a spring fund raiser.  For this meeting, please bring something for a fun game....doesn't have to be expensive....bag of bird seed, treats, TP, Kleenex, plant, candy, dish soap whatever.   If you have a friend or two who may be interested in joining us, bring them along.  I don't have all the member's emails in my address book yet from the last meeting so if you notice I missed anyone, please let them know.  I will be working on the member list and getting things ready for the meeting. My phone number is (715) 884-2659 if you need directions

Close-up to show Highway A becomes highway 80 at intersection 13-73... Just continue straight south.  At that point, you're pretty close to Marlines.  She's on the East side of the Street, the third house right past a cemetery.
