Just a quick note regarding this year's Bird & Garden Fair. I want let
everyone know that the club received a ton of compliments regarding this year's
fair. Many nice comments have been received by club members regarding the
raffle, silent auction, lunch, Amish bake sale, and selection of birds, bird
supplies and plants.
I want to thank EACH AND EVERY ONE of the members who took the time out of a
busy holiday weekend to help put on this fair. As you all know, it is a
huge event for our little club to put on an event like this and we need each and
every one of you to pull it off. Like I told one of my friends, the entire
day is a blur to me but I want to make sure that everyone knows that
their help was very much needed and appreciated. I was so happy to see more
members come early and stay till we were finished cleaning and locking up.
I will not even try to mention each job and who did what because I will surely
miss someone. So thank
you all and you know what you did and who you are;) There is a ton of work
that goes into the annual fair months, weeks before the actual day of the fair.
The day of the fair is an extremely busy day for all of us but we do it for the
good of the club and I think we all had a pretty good time too. Thank you!
